Throughout the month of April, the online version of The Encyclopaedia of Islam is available for your use. The Encyclopaedia comprehensively details Islamic religion, life and culture across the globe. The online version includes all of the content of the print 2nd edition and incorporates new entries from the 3rd edition as they are published. The geographical and temporal scope includes the early Islamic empire, the Ottoman Empire, and contemporary Islamic regions and nations including Central Asia, Iran, and Indonesia.
The Library urges you to review and evaluate this resource, testing the easy of navigating through the entries, the degree of completeness and its overall comprehensiveness. Please send your comments to Kendra St. Aubin at kstaubin@bridgew.edu by May 5, 2009. Thank you!
