Halie Kerns
Hi, my name is Halie Kerns. I am the Systems Librarian at Maxwell Library. I help to support, maintain, and update the library's digital spaces including our (new!) website and catalog. I am also a data nerd. I love to do research about data science in libraries and create digital scholarship projects such as data visualizations. Outside of the library, I love knitting and thrifting weird clothes, swimming in large bodies of water, and roller-skating.

Art at Maxwell
First Floor Art Installation
Check out the new art installation on the first floor of the library! This reproduction of "The Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis Geographica Ac Hydrographica Tabula” (1630) is a famous, double-hemisphere world map by Henricus Hondius, epitomizing the Dutch Golden Age cartography. The original was published in Amsterdam, including an early depiction of Australia's eastern coastline, the Great Lakes, and California as an island.
