New Maxwell Library Website
At the end of the spring semester, the library website received a major makeover. After 13 years on its previous platform, the site was migrated and redesigned to better meet current user experience and accessibility standards. Updates include a refreshed design that aligns with BSU’s colors, improved menu navigation, and simpler, more intuitive page layouts. You may already be familiar with the new site, but questions and suggestions are always welcomed by the Systems Librarian, Halie Kerns (hkerns@bridgew.edu). Happy searching this fall!

Leafy Lending
Add some greenery to your living space with Maxwell Library's Leafy Lending Program! Beginning Wednesday, September 2, 2026, BSU students can check out a plant and planter for the semester. Simply return both at the end of the term. There is no penalty if your plant doesn’t survive. Plants are available while supplies last, so stop by early!
School Supplies
Did you know that the library has free school supplies? Stop by the first floor to pick up pens, notebooks, and other essentials! Throughout September, the Senior College & Psychology Club will be collecting donations to help keep our supplies stocked. Donations will also be collected at the Good Neighbor Day event on September 28.
