Borrow Technology

Maxwell Library technology equipment is available to check out for 7 days. Pick up your booked equipment at the Library Services Desk on the 1st floor. View and book technology equipment.

Charge Your Devices

Borrow charging cables, computer chargers, dongles, adapters, and headphones while in the library by visiting the Library Services Desk on the 1st floor. 

Laptop Lending Program

Laptops and Chromebooks are available to students on a first come first serve basis at the Access Service Desk. Most laptops are loaned for a semester. We reserve a small number of laptops for short-term loan, also available first come first serve.

Technology in the library

• 46 open access computers on three floors (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• 2 Bloomberg terminals on 2nd floor (on the counter behind the Study Rooms). Access and usage of the Bloomberg Terminals is restricted to students registered in the Ricciardi College of Business and students enrolled in actuarial science courses.
• 2 accessible computer with JAWS, ZoomText 9.1, flatbed scanner, and Kurzweil 3000 applications, near Rm. 113, 1st floor
• 1 DVD player and 1 VCR located near Rm. 113, 1st floor
• Search the catalog computers near the Research Help/Reference Desk on the 1st floor
• Search the catalog computer next to the Educational Resource Center Desk on the 2nd floor
• 2 test scoring computers located in Educational Resource Center on the 2nd floor
