Continuing Scholarship

  • Contribution to the content and pedagogy of the discipline through the development of library programs/services
  • Participation in or contribution to professional organizations and societies
  • Research as demonstrated by published or unpublished work
  • Artistic or other creative activities (where applicable)
  • Work toward the terminal degree or relevant post graduate study
  • Scholarship that includes community-engaged approaches
  • Example: Development of a curricular area, Engage in collection development Create a bibliography or MaxGuide Update lesson plans

Professional Activities

 Participation in or contribution to professional organizations and societies. Effectiveness in rendering assistance to students, faculty and the academic community

  • Public service
  • Contributions to the professional growth and development of the university
