How do I find Articles on a particular subject?

To find articles on a particular topic:

  • Begin with the "Databases A to Z list"
  • Select an appropriate database from the Alphabetical Database List. A Reference Librarian can help if you are not sure which one to pick.
  • Once you have selected a database enter your search terms into the search box to get a result list.
  • Most databases will provide an abstract (summary) of the article, some will also provide the full-text of the article. Click on "Find full text" or "Full Text Finder" links within the article to see if you can get the full text.

How do I obtain an article if I have the citation?

Google Scholar Search

You can enter the title of the article in the Google Scholar box to find out if it is available at Maxwell Library.
